Chiron is considered by many to be an asteroid or small planet that travels between the orbits of Saturn and Uranus. Although only discovered in 1977. Chiron has become a deeply embedded archetype in the collective object.
Chiron was a centaur a mythical creature that was a ameliorate amalgamate of human reason and animal instinct. He was a great healer but through an accidental wound was destined to be with his suffering. Chiron in the astrological map shows where we have suffered but also where we can be a healing and mentoring influence for others.
